SenseMe Transport Enables…

Posted on April 22, 2015 by Tim Saxe

Thanks for checking back in with us!  While we’ll be down at Linley this afternoon, I did want to pass along the latest in the series of SenseMe™ videos.  In this case, we are showing what our transport algorithms, on the ArcticLink 3 S2 ultra-low power sensor hub, can enable.

It’s only fair to note here that this is only the tip of the iceberg.  Our sensor hub and sensor hub algorithms are designed to (among other things) assess the users transport.  From there, we populate that information (in car, on bike, on escalator, elevator, etc…) into the host OS.  From there, the OEM can decide to do things we show in the video, like automatically disable texting in a car for safety purposes, or shut down WiFi while on a bicycle to save power.

Any questions?
