I remember QUIK referred to as a companion device several times in earlier conference calls. Any bench mark results you can share with QUIK’s approach compare to Nvidia’s 5th core?.
Thanks for the comment. Its difficult to make an objective comparison to device which really isn’t widely available. I believe you’d agree that is a lot of vagueness in the article — I’d rather be fair and wait for hard data before I make an objective comparison.
Good to hear from you. Slides will be available here concurrent with the meeting, while audio (actually, video) to be available a few weeks afterwards.
If I was a Marketing person for Pantech (obviously I am not), I’d likely point out that the Pantech device offers a larger, 5″ display, and always has a 1.5GHz processor (some Galaxy 2S phones have a 1.5, while others a 1.2GHz processor — looks like its carrier and region-dependent). At the same time, I’d mention that the Pantech phone also has been noted for its battery life, camera, and unexpectedly light weight.
However, as I am not a Pantech Marketing guy and rather a QuickLogic Marketing guy, I’d say the advantages are squarely that the phone offers sunlight viewability (VEE) and superior battery life (DPO) .

Makes sense. Do you have any data available for Vega 5 comparing to other leading >4.3inch phones with a similar processor?.
Jeff,
What kind of data are you looking for?
Paul
Paul,
For a typical smart phone user like me how can you show Vega 5 is superior to galaxy S2?. Aren’t they both using same processor?.
