The Moment Has Arrived

Posted on September 9, 2015 by Brian Faith

Today is a very exciting day for us here at QuickLogic.  We have been hinting recently at a brand name OEM wearable product that would be QuickLogic-enabled.  Well, that Moment has arrived.

As a gadget guy myself, I like the idea of a wearable that doesn’t need to be charged nightly, and can be worn whether I’m out for a swim, or going out to dinner with my wife. I think the Runtastic Moment fits the bill by providing utility and style.

We are thrilled to be selected by Runtastic for this wearable product line.  We believe our unique combination of ArcticLink 3 S2 and SenseMe software algorithm library has helped bring to market something that is unique in this space – 6 months of battery life.  Combine that long battery life with other features such as sleep analysis and the fact that the watch is waterproof, and I hope you can see why we are so excited to be part of Moment.

Runtastic, now part of the adidas Group, has received some very good reviews on the Moment family of wearable activity trackers.  Below are some of the more interesting ones…

Now I’d like to ask a question for the readers: what would 6 months of battery life mean to you as a consumer?

    Hello Brian,

Any idea when the Runtastic watch might be available for purchase in the US?
