Greetings…we’re just down the road from our headquarters in Santa Clara, CA, at the Wearable Sensors and Electronics 2014 Conference. We’ll be here today and tomorrow, showing our ArcticLink 3 S2 sensor hub in a variety of QuickLogic platforms, including our smartphone reference kit, TAG wearable evaluation kit, and TAG-N reference design for Nordic Semiconductor’s latest BLE device.
A bit of a visual teaser for you..
From left to right…
- Our smartphone demonstration kit, consisting of our smartphone development board mounted to a Nexus 5 phone, running our demo application. This application allows immediate recognition of changes in context, gestures, as well as enhanced pedometer features and heart rate monitoring
- The TAG-N system, a plug-in board for the Nordic nRF51822 development kit
- The TAG system for wearables, inserted into an off-the-shelf smart watch band, allowing immediate testing of QuickLogic algorithms. It communicates over BLE to the phone next to it, allowing a visual and audio confirmation of changes in context, step count, etc…
- The phone tied to TAG
- The smartphone development board
