Posted on August 4, 2014 by Tim Saxe

Today we announced the latest in a series of connectivity designs, the JRC PHS phone.  This phone uses our PolarPro II CSSP device, running a number of technologies including Inter-Processor Communications.   An image of the phone appears here…

      Hello Baruca1,

Thanks for reading, and for the questions. Unfortunately, we are restricted from commenting on our customer’s specific model sales, and do not provide specific ASPs for products.

      Regards

      Paul

Hi Paul, Have you any idea how many phones JRC sells and how many BISINESTRA (301JR) they expect to sell?

      Hello Chris,

Thanks, as well, for your questions.

Product forecasts and sell-through is an extremely sensitive item for our OEMs. As you can imagine, we do have a production forecast for this design, and do receive updates on the forecast in a regular, consistent cadence (as we do with all of our OEMs). The sensitive part is actually sharing this data — OEMs generally hold their per-design sales very close to the chest. With perhaps one or two exceptions, OEMs don’t break out their sales volumes by specific models. Furthermore, OEMs will NDA-restrict their suppliers (like QuickLogic) from sharing production forecasts or current sell-through data.

Regarding overall JRC phone sales, I don’t see anything publicly-available on that which I could point you at.

If you can’t share the numbers then simply stop posting nonsense here.
